School Calendar
Our 2020-2021 school calendar is accessible in many different forms:
1. Subscribe to our calendar:
It is possible for staff, parents, and students to subscribe to the SLKF 2020-2021 school calendar to view events in their Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Apple Calendar, or other calendar utilizing iCal. By subscribing to the calendar, your device will automatically update with any changes/additions/deletions to the calendar when SLKF makes such changes.
Once subscribed, your calendar application will display events beginning from the day you subscribed to the calendar. Events that have already happened will not display.
As events are created or updated in Family Portal, the events will also be created or updated automatically in your calendar application (Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Apple Calendar, or other calendar utilizing iCal).
- Login to your Family Portal (formerly known as your ParentsWeb or RenWeb) account
- Click Calendar.
The School calendar displays. Other options include My Classrooms and My Homework calendar tabs. - Click Subscribe.
Subscription options display. - Select all desired calendars.
- Highlight the displayed URL, copy, and paste into your preferred calendar application.
- Click OK to exit the dialog.
Helpful Tips:
Click the links below for instructions on adding Family Portal calendar(s) to your:
- Google Calendar – select your device type (Computer, Android, iPhone and iPad), then click Add using a link.
- Microsoft Outlook Calendar – scroll down to Subscribe to a calendar.
- Apple Calendar – select Subscribe to a calendar.
2. View our calendar on Family Portal (formerly known as Renweb):
1. Go to your App Store and search for “Renweb Home”
2. Download the Renweb Home app to your phone. THERE IS AN ANNUAL FEE OF $4.99 PER YEAR FOR THIS APP.
3. Your login information for the app will match your login information to your Family Portal (ParentsWeb) account. Reminder: The district code is slk-la.
3. View the calendar below:
If you wish to simply scroll and view the calendar you can find it below. E-mails, texts, and/or letters in your child’s folder may be sent home with any calendar changes/updates throughout the year. Please check your e-mail, texts, and child’s folder every day.
Please note that the best way to obtain a most up to date calendar is to subscribe to the calendar and/or view it in the Family Portal (Renweb) Home app. Instructions for both can be found above.
4. Print the calendar below:
If you wish to have a printed paper version of the calendar, please click on the arrow in the top right-hand corner of the calendar below. This will open the calendar in a new window and allow you to print it. E-mails, texts, and/or letters in your child’s folder may be sent home with any calendar changes/updates throughout the year. Please check your e-mail, texts, and child’s folder every day.
