Welcome to the Little Crusader Program! We are excited to be a part of your child’s 1st year and help them meet their developmental milestones, including sitting, crawling, standing, and walking. Throughout the year, we will be making friends, reading books, playing music, singing songs, and maybe even creating some artwork! Your child will also be introduced to colors, shapes, and animals and their sounds. But most importantly, we will provide a nurturing and caring environment for your baby.

The following is a list of items your child will need in the classroom.

  1. Bottles with caps prepared for the day. No glass bottles allowed.
  2. Food/Snacks for the day, when appropriate (If prepared at home, the container should be labeled with contents as well as the child’s name.) No food or snacks will be stored in the classroom. Please send enough for each day. What isn’t used will be sent home.
  3. Send an extra bottle with breast milk or formula, food, and snacks DAILY for emergency use.
  4. Diapers (one sleeve at a time)
  5. Wipes (one to two packs at a time)
  6. Diaper rash cream (must complete a topical authorization form)
  7. Pacifiers, if your child takes one. Pacifiers with stuffed animals attached are not allowed. There can be no strings on pacifiers.
  8. 3 changes of clothes (including socks) placed into a gallon-size Ziploc bag
  9. 2 fitted crib sheets – Sheets will be sent home every Friday to be washed.
  10. Sippy cup, when appropriate
  11. Bibs (enough for each bottle feeding for the day)
  12. Plastic bibs, spoons, and bowls for meals, when appropriate
  13. Gallon Ziploc bags for dirty food containers to be sent home daily
  14. A small picture of your child to include in their file
  15. Portable sound machine for crib (if wanted)
  16. Diaper bag: Please ensure it includes ONLY the necessities for the day and is small

Crib bumpers and crib darkening covers ARE NOT ALLOWED. No accessories are allowed in or on the cribs.

Please LABEL EVERYTHING, including food, tops, and bottoms of bottles or containers, pacifiers, bedding, bibs, utensils/bowls, clothes, etc. We cannot identify everyone’s items without proper labeling. So, please LABEL EVERYTHING.

PK1 Supply List

Welcome to the Little Crusader Program! We are excited to be a part of your child’s daily routine, and we look forward to assisting your child through their developmental milestones. We will be making friends, reading books, playing music, dancing, singing songs, and creating artwork! We will also include P.E., Music, and Spanish in their curriculum. When the weather and time permit, we will take walks on the rope and include morning and afternoon playground times. But most importantly, we will provide a nurturing and caring environment for your child.

The following is a list of items your child will need on a DAILY basis:

  1. 1 labeled Sippy cup filled with milk if you wish for your child to have milk in the morning or at lunch. Sippy cups will be stored in our classroom refrigerator.
  2. 1 labeled Sippy cup filled with water. We will refill cups with water throughout the day as needed.
    *Note: Students in our Turtle class may bring in bottles if they are still transitioning to a Sippy cup. Teachers will assist with this transition by gradually introducing their Sippy cup.
  3. Lunch for the day. Lunch boxes should be able to hold both cold/warm foods. Bentgo© style boxes are ideal for PK1 lunches. Finger food lunches should be brought in a lunch kit that includes an ice pack. Students feed themselves in PK1. Lunches will NOT be stored in the refrigerator. Please provide any utensils if needed for their meal. NO glass containers. All food and snacks will be sent home daily.
  4. SLKF Little Crusaders Tote Bag embroidered with child’s last name (must be purchased at Schiro’s)
  5. SLKF Little Crusaders uniforms. Uniforms must be purchased at Schiro’s School Time. They have our complete uniform list in store and online.

The following is a list of items your child will need in the classroom:

  1. Diapers (one sleeve at a time)
  2. Diaper cream (topical authorization must be filled out)
  3. Diaper wipes (one to two at a time)
  4. 2 changes of clothes (including socks). This does NOT have to be a school uniform.
  5. 2 sets of fitted crib sheets and 1 blanket (will be sent home every Friday for washing)
  6. 2 vinyl bibs for a snack and/or lunchtime, if necessary. These will be sent home daily.
  7. Pacifiers can be kept in your child’s cubby for naptime only. Pacifiers with stuffed animals attached are not allowed. We will transition away from pacifiers by May 2026 to prepare for PK2.

Please LABEL EVERYTHING, including tops and bottoms of containers, pacifiers, bedding, bibs, utensils/bowls, clothes, etc. We cannot identify everyone’s items without proper labeling. So, please LABEL EVERYTHING.

Your child will be introduced to a schedule and curriculum this year. Please have your child in the classroom and settled in no later than 8:00 am so that they can enjoy all activities involved within our structured curriculum. If you plan to send your child with breakfast to eat in the classroom, please arrive no later than 7:30 am, as breakfast ends at 8:00 am.

PK2 Supply List

Welcome to SLKF Little Crusaders PK2! We are excited to be a part of your child’s daily routine and look forward to assisting your child through their important developmental milestones. We will be making friends, reading books, playing music, singing songs, and creating artwork! Your child will also participate in Spanish, P.E., and Music co-curricular. When weather permits, we will go to the playground for physical activity time both in the mornings and afternoons. But most importantly, we will provide a nurturing and caring environment for your little one.

Following is a list of items your child will need on a DAILY basis:

  1. 1 labeled Sippy cup filled with WATER. We will refill cups with water throughout the day as needed.
  2. Lunch- You may order lunch from the cafeteria, OR you may send a packed lunch. Lunch kits should include an ice pack, if necessary. We are unable to refrigerate lunches due to limited storage. We cannot Microwave lunches. Please send all the necessary utensils for your child’s lunch. Bentgo© style boxes are ideal for PK2 Lunches. All food should be cut up. Foods considered a choking hazard will not be served to your child.
  3. SLKF Little Crusaders Tote Bag embroidered with your child’s last name (must be purchased from Schiro’s School Time)
  4. SLKF Nap Mat embroidered with your child’s last name (must be purchased from Schiro’s School Time). This will be sent home every Friday to wash.
    **Note: Pacifiers are not allowed in PK2.**

Please have your child in the classroom and settled in no later than 8:00 am so that they can enjoy all activities involved within our structured curriculum. If you plan to send your child to school with breakfast, please arrive no later than 7:30 am so that they may be finished eating by 8:00 am.

PK3 - PK4

PK3 and PK4 students must purchase a nap mat from Schiro’s. No other nap mats will be accepted. All other supplies will be provided in the classroom on the first day of school.
