I welcome this opportunity to introduce you to our school. Located in Metairie, St. Louis King of France Catholic School has been a beacon of Catholic education for students for over 60 years. We are a co-ed school serving over 400 students in Nursery through 7th grades. The Little Crusaders Early Childhood Program (6 weeks through PK2) is year round with the hours of operation being 7:30 am to 6 pm. We recognize and understand that the early years are formative years of learning. Our SLKF Little Crusaders Early Childhood Program is filled with wonder and excitement, and we work to ensure each child’s growth in all areas of development.
St. Louis King of France Catholic School is a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and is AdvancED accredited. Our teachers are degreed and certified, and provide a nurturing environment in which students can learn. Our rigorous curriculum encompasses both traditional and innovative teaching techniques, and our small class sizes afford students the attention they need to succeed.
At SLKF, we have a comprehensive co-curricular program that includes Spanish, Computer, Library, P.E. and Music. A number of extra-curricular activities are offered to our students, including sports, drama, choir, altar servers, Mary’s club, Ambassadors, Student Council, and yearbook, just to name a few. After School Care is available to all students.
We offer Camp Crusader to area students who will be entering PK3 through 7th grades. A variety of summer activities are offered to campers.
